Ryanair will expand its network from London Stansted this summer with new services to Lübeck (Hamburg), Malmö, Sweden, Nimes and Perpignan in France, and three Italian points: Brescia (Verona/Milan), Lamezia and Alghero (Sardinia). A new Prestwick-Hahn (Frankfurt) service is also starting. Portugalia is introducing three new routes from Lisbon and Oporto, including daily flights to Berlin and Hamburg in Germany and Bologna in northern Italy. British Airways is modifying its services through Asia over the next few months. Services from Singapore to Brisbane will be reduced from daily to four times a week, with the other three flights going to instead to Sydney. Flights from Singapore to Perth will cease on 30 June, as will services from Kuala Lumpur to Sydney. BA will add an extra six weekly flights from London Heathrow to Kuala Lumpur, an extra three from Heathrow to Bangkok, both using Boeing 777s. Certain routes from Brisbane and Perth will be taken over by Qantas. Hawaiian carrier Aloha Airlines has introduced a weekly scheduled service between Honolulu and Midway Island. Delta Air Lines' Cincinantti hub will become an all-jet operation on 1 December, when Delta Connection carrier Comair completes the transition to regional jets. Comair operates 90 Bombardier CRJs. Air New Zealand Cargo and Ansett Australia Cargo have begun a joint overnight freight service between Auckland and Sydney.
