Delta Air Lines has inaugurated daily non-stop service between Atlanta and Leon, Mexico, with SkyTeam partner Aeromexico, operating Boeing 737-800s. British Airways franchise partner Maersk Air will increase services between Birmingham and Berlin from one to two flights every weekday from 30 October. From 22 November, Maersk will operate Boeing 737-500 services to Zurich, and a Bombardier CRJ200 service to Milan. US low-fare carrier AirTran will launch its first international service in December, linking Atlanta with Grand Bahamas Island, operated by Boeing 717s. LanPeru has begun daily New York Kennedy-Lima services, via Miami, using a Boeing 767-300 operated by 49% owner LanChile. LanPeru is adding a new domestic service between Lima and Juliaca and increasing domestic services to Arequipa and Cuzco using Boeing 737-200s. United Airlines will add daily non-stop services between Chicago and Amsterdam from February, using Boeing 767-300s. Vanguard Airlines has expanded to the US east coast with non--stop service between New York La Guardia and its Kansas City hub. Delta Connection carrier, Atlantic Coast Jet has begun daily non-stop service between Burlington and New York La Guardia using 32-seat Fairchild 328JETs. KLM will operate twice-daily non-stop Amsterdam-Lisbon services from January, replacing the current service via Oporto. Transavia, the Dutch airlines low cost subsidiary is scheduled to begin once-daily Amsterdam-Oporto services from April. Chicago Express Airlines, operating as ATA Connection, is increasing services between Chicago and Indianapolis on 9 November from six to nine daily. LOT Polish Airlines will add a daily service between London Gatwick and Warsaw on 30 October, operated by Boeing 737s. LOT already serves Krakow and Gdansk from Gatwick.
