Royal Airlines has added a daily Montreal-Toronto roundtrip flight bringing the total number of daily flights to eight, and has also added two return flights between Halifax and Toronto making a total of six return flights. LanChile will begin services between New York and Guayaquil, Ecuador, effective 1 December as a result of its new two-year agreement with Ecuatoriana Airlines allowing LanChile to operate its aircraft on Ecuatoriana's international routes under codeshare and/or wet-lease. Lufthansa is undertaking a test with German rail company Deutsche Bahn, by offering its passengers rail travel between Stuttgart railway station and Frankfurt airport. From March six trains will operate each day carrying Lufthansa codes and offering 46 seats for the airline's passengers. Privately-owned Greek private carrier Cronus Airlines, is initiating daily services from Kavalla to Athens, and from Kavalla to both Koln and Stuttgard, Germany, as of 20 November. Delta Air Lines will codeshare on South African Airways flights from Johannesburg to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, beginning 1 December. Air Canada and Canadian Airlines are increasing service between Toronto and Florida, beginning daily services to Fort Lauderdale and Fort Meyers in December. Air New Zealand is expanding codeshares with its Star Alliance partners under a revamped schedule for next year. Beginning on 1 April, the airline will increase frequencies from Los Angeles and Honolulu to Auckland, but cease operating from Los Angeles to Honolulu and instead codeshare on United Airlines' flights. ANZ will increase non-stop service from Los Angeles to Fiji and Rarotonga, but reduce flights to these destinations from Honolulu. The airline will also drop its two weekly flights between Los Angeles and Frankfurt, and instead codeshare on Lufthansa's twice daily flights. US Airways has approval to start Philadelphia-Brussels flights in May.
