Air India is seeking US clearance to introduce services between Mumbai and Los Angeles via Kuala Lumpur, which will be operated under code share with Malaysia Airlines. US Airways will begin daily services between Philadelphia and Belgium on 10 May using a Boeing 767. Singapore Airlines is to launch a three-times-weekly service between Singapore and Chicago via Amsterdam on 1 August using Boeing 777-200ERs as extensions to Amsterdam services. Aeroflot is halting services from Moscow to Kuala Lumpur from 25 March. Air New Zealand Cargo will begin a three times weekly round-the-world freighter service with Lufthansa Cargo on 28 March, using Boeing MD-11 aircraft operated by the German carrier. The service will originate in Frankfurt. Emirates began scheduled flights between Dubai and Tripoli on 25 March. British Airways' London Stansted based low-cost arm Go is creating a second hub at Bristol International Airport, from where eight destinations will initially be served: Faro, Portugal; Nice; Palma de Mallorca; Alicante and Malaga (all from 22/23 May); Ibiza; Barcelona and Rome (from 15 June). Meanwhile, Stansted-Lisbon is being dropped. JAT plans services from Belgrade to Sofia, Bulgaria. Northwest Airlines and Transavia are to codeshare on the latter's scheduled services between Amsterdam Schiphol and the Italian cities of Catania, Naples and Pisa and, Faro, Oporto and Funchal in Portugal. American Airlines plans to drop TWA's daily New York-Tel Aviv service, once it completes the acquisition of the airline. EVA Air has introduced non-stop services from Taipei to Paris, operating over Siberia. Polar Air Cargo began five weekly Boeing 747-400 freighter flights between Tokyo Narita and Chicago O'Hare on 26 March. In April, the Tokyo-Chicago flights will go on to Sïo Paulo, Brazil, and Santiago, Chile.
