Continental Airlines will launch daily non-stop Boeing 767 services between Houston and Amsterdam next May, pending government approval. Continental already serves Amsterdam from New York Newark. Meanwhile, the carrier will increase capacity on its daily flights between Glasgow and New York Newark during this year's peak summer season by replacing its 172-seat Boeing 757-200 with a 282-seat McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30. US Airways Express is to link Pittsburgh with Cedar Rapids, Madison and Wisconsin. Three Madison-Pittsburgh roundtrip daily services, and twice-daily Cedar Rapids-Pittsburgh services are due to commence this August, operated by Embraer ERJ-145s. UK charter airline JMC will launch four weekly flights from Liverpool next summer to Palma de Mallorca, Tenerife, Ibiza and Bodrum in Turkey. Swissair is to expand its PendulAir shuttle service between Zurich and Geneva from October. Frequencies will rise to 14 departures from Zurich and Geneva, with Airbus A320s replaced by larger Airbus A321s on some services. Meanwhile, Swissair and its partner Sabena have added a connecting bus service between Montreal and Quebec City featuring its own 'flight number'. Swissair and Sabena have daily non-stop services to Montreal from Zurich and Brussels, respectively. Sabena is increasing its Brussels-Dakar services from six times weekly to daily from next month. The airline has also added a fourth weekly Brussels-Sofia connection. Southwest Airlines is to add an extra daily nonstop service between Dallas Love Field and New Orleans from October, operated by Boeing 737s. Chicago Express Airlines, operating as ATA Connection, will introduce daily services from Chicago Midway to Springfield, Illinois, from August. Australia's Virgin Blue is expanding its domestic network to include Canberra from July. It will operate daily services to the Australian capital from Brisbane with Boeing 737s.
