SilkAir is introducing direct flights between Singapore and Kochi (Cochin) in the Indian state of Kerala from 28 October, under a codeshare with Air India. Luxair has added a third daily frequency between Luxembourg and London Stansted. Russian carrier Kras Air has transferred all flights to newly rebuilt Moscow Domodedovo from Sheremetyevo, as it offers better connections. British Airways franchise operator British Mediterranean Airways has introduced twice weekly flights between London Heathrow and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The USA and Qatar have formally signed an open skies agreement following an initial agreement to liberalise air services two years ago. UK low fare airline Easyjet is considering the introduction of flights between London Heathrow and Belfast International Airport, following the decision by BA to drop the route. United Airlines is switching six of its destinations to United Express partners this month - Allentown, Pennsylvania; Knoxville, Tennessee; Norfolk, Virginia; Portland, Maine; Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina; and Santa Barbara, California.
