If the partners secure regulatory approval, American's code will be added to Swiss services from Zurich to Basle, Bologna, Bucharest, Frankfurt, Geneva, Hanover, Milan, Nice, Prague, Rome, Stockholm, Turin, Venice, Vienna and Warsaw. Sibir Airlines, Russia's second largest carrier and the principal user of Moscow's Vnukovo Airport, is transferring all its scheduled operations from Vnukovo to Domodedovo. The move, which will be completed by the end of May, is due to a combination of airport charges, airport quality and problems with transferring passengers and baggage to connecting services, says the airline. Domodedovo is the only Moscow airport with a direct rail link to the city centre. British Airways franchise operator Maersk Air has increased the number of routes it serves on behalf of the UK flag carrier from its base in Birmingham from 10 to 16. It is adding weekend flights to Bordeaux, Nice and Toulouse on 4 May, which will be ramped up to daily services in June when it will also introduce daily services to Geneva and three flights a week to Athens and Venice.
