Royal Jet (C15) has acquired two more BBJs, taking its total fleet to seven and making it the world’s largest BBJ owner.
The two new aircraft will be luxury versions of the BBJ 737-700 with an en-suite state room (double bedroom with a bathroom), eight VIP seats in a club four setting, eight business seats and 12 economy seats.

Rapid
“We have responded positively to the current rapid growth and high demand of customers, which help us fulfill our commitment to being the region’s premier provider for private charter services”, says Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak, Royal Jet’s chairman.
The company also says that based on yesterday’s BBJ3 announcement it will be exploring the capabilities of Boeing’s new model.
And in a move to cater for another part of its customer base, the charter operator has obtained an Augusta Bell 139 in a five-passenger VIP configuration, which it is marketing for Abu Dhabi Aviation. “We believe this will be a good match for our customers, particularly those in oil companies,” says president and chief executive Christopher Crum.
