The Russian Government is trying to resolve the row that has prevented several aircraft being shown at the show.

As reported here on Monday, the threat of being impounded by a Swiss company as punishment for alleged non-payment of debts by Moscow has resulted in some of the biggest crowd-pleasing aircraft from MiG and Sukhoi staying at home.

Viktor Komardin, deputy director-general of Rosoboronexport, Russia's arms exporting organisation, said at a press conference at the show that legal moves were now under way to settle the matter.
