Transaero took delivery of its first Airbus A310-300 at the end of November on lease from the manufacturer, and may acquire a second early next year. The first aircraft, an ex-Aerolineas Argentinas example, will initially be operated on services from the airline's Moscow base to London, Paris, Tel Aviv, and Almaty in Kazakhstan. Transaero later plans to use the twinjet on long haul flights.
