The aeroplane that made the historic flight was the 'Spirit of Saint-Louis' built for Lindbergh by Ryan Airlines.
Teledyne Ryan, now part of Allegheny Teledyne, is still a pioneer in the aircraft industry and is at Le Bourget (Hall1/E7) showing off its latest new technologies and aerospace-related products.
In February, the company rolled out the most advanced high altitude unmanned aerial vehicle ever.
The Global Hawk (Tier II Plus) which will make its maiden flight later this year, has the capability to fly 3,000 miles, carry out surveillance operations over an area for 24 hours and return to base.
