I read with interest your article (Flight International, 18-24 November) "Ryanair could ditch Charleroi". I have become increasingly frustrated with Ryanair's attitude. Chief executive Michael O'Leary says if Ryanair loses its subsidy it will pull out of Charleroi.

Do I detect a touch of double standards? Ryanair has always pointed the finger at British Airways, among others, complaining about hidden subsidies, most recently when Go was set up. Ryanair made great play about the fact that it succeeded by simply getting the product right for the customer. If Charleroi is ditched, for many it will be a case of one rule for BA and another for Ryanair.
