Sikorsky's S-92 has entered service on the North Sea, with the first of two aircraft for Norsk Helikopter flying crew-change missions for Statoil. Petroleum Helicopters (PHI), meanwhile, has won a seven-year BP America Production contract to provide services in the Gulf of Mexico with two S-92s and three S-76C+s. Launch customer PHI last month ordered two S-92s, taking its fleet to six, plus four S-76C+s.
