The cockpit and rear fuselage structures for the first 728JET have arrived at Fairchild Dornier's Oberpfaffenhofen plant from Belgian risk-sharing production partner SABCA. First flight of the prototype is set for March, with deliveries to launch customer Lufthansa CityLine in mid-2003. SABCA became a risk-sharing partner on the programme in 1999.
