American firm Safe Flight Instrument, which specialises in in-flight safety systems, has many new things on show in Hall 4/B8.

The N1 has been certified in the last six weeks for both the Citation 560/Ultra and the Raytheon Beechjet 400A.

Developed over the last three years, the system automatically computes and displays engine thrust settings for take-off, climb, cruise, and go-ahead. These are based on the actual aircraft altitude temperature and environmental/anti-ice configuration.

On show for the first time is a shaker for helicopters which is mounted on the collective control to warn of over-torque or other hazardous conditions.
