The aircraft (PK-LQP) departed at 06:20 local time operating flight JT610. Local media indicates that contact was lost 13 minutes after takeoff. The aircraft was scheduled to land at 07:20. Reports suggest 180 people are onboard.
Media reports from Indonesia indicate that the aircraft has crashed, but this has yet to be confirmed by the airline or Indonesian officials. Media reports suggest that Indonesian rescue agency Basarnas will hold a press conference within the hour.
