Safran has named three deputy chief executives to report to chairman and chief executive Jean-Paul Herteman as part of a management reshuffle.
Dominique-Jean Chertier will take charge of the corporate office, Ross McInnes will be responsible for finance and risk management, and Marc Ventre will be in charge of sales and industrial operations.
Yves Leclère will be appointed as executive vice-president transformation, a newly-created role. The role will include Safran+ modernisation programmes, research and technology central operations, and a newly-created innovation directorate.
Furthermore, Bruno Cotté has been appointed executive vice-president international, replacing Emeric D'Arcimoles who will take up another role in the group.
Snecma chief executive Philippe Petitcolin will join Safran's senior management as chief executive of the defence and security unit. Defence and security executive vice-president Olivier Andriès is to be proposed as chairman and chief executive of Turbomeca.
The reshuffle will be implemented after consultation with employee representative bodies and will be followed by other appointments.
