Peru has suspended the sale of six Embraer EMB312A Tucanos to Angola following a senate investigation into alleged bribery and procurement irregularities. The Tucanos were sold for $4.8 million in October 2001. The aircraft were being prepared for shipment to Embraer for overhaul before delivery. Other aircraft up for disposal include eight Aermacchi MB339As, two Lockheed Martin C-130s, a de Havilland DHC-5 and a DHC-6.
