The first of four Saab 2000s ordered in 1996 by SAS Commuter, was delivered during a ceremony at Saab's Linköping, Sweden, factory, on 24 January. Based at Stockholm's Arlanda Airport, the Saab 2000s will be used on Swedish and Finnish routes. SAS Commuter, the aircraft's fourth European customer, holds two Saab 2000 options.
