SAS and Lithuanian Airlines have agreed to co-operate and aim to form a "strategic partnership" by 1 September. The Lithuanian flag carrier will co-ordinate its route network with SAS, while the agreement includes reciprocal ground handling and code-sharing arrangements. The Lithuanian Government hopes to float 49% of the airline this year, but shares are likely to be available only to Lithuanian organisations.
