Announcing good results for the first three quarters of 1998, the SAS group of Scandinavia forecasts that it expects its profit for the whole year, including capital gains, to be 15-20% higher than that posted for 1997. Meanwhile operating revenue for the year to 30 September showed a 4.7% increase, at $3.95 billion, and profit before tax for the period has been given as $324 million.
