The Ottawa-based Satcom Division of EMS Technologies (Stand C20A, Hall 4) has appointed Stephen Newell as its director of military sales. With more than a decade of experience in airborne, satellite and military communications systems, he spent the last two years representing EMS's aeronautical satcoms products to Gulfstream, Lockheed Martin and the US Navy. In his new role he will manage sales of the company's market-leading Inmarsat-based aeronautical systems to the world's armed forces and governments.
