Colombian regional carrier Servicio Aéreo a Territorios Nacionales (Satena) has extended its component maintenance agreement with Sabena Technics’ US subsidiary Barfield to cover three additional ATR 42-500 turboprops.
As a result of the larger fleet, the spare part stock at the state carrier’s base in Bogota will be increased, says the French MRO group.
In late 2010, Satena arranged a flight hour-based component maintenance agreement with Barfireld for a 10-strong ATR fleet, covering equipment pool access and engineering support.
