Fractional ownership provider NetJets Europe has launched a dedicated operation for the market in Scotland in the UK. The new NetJets Scotland service will offer flights from 17 Scottish airports, including the Royal Air Force bases at Lossiemouth, Leuchars (close to the St Andrews golf course) and Kinloss. It will also provide access to the nation’s Highlands region, as well as to the Hebrides, Orkney and Shetland islands. Over the past 12 months NetJets aircraft have made more than 1,000 flights to and from Scotland, the company says. The operational base for the NetJets Europe fleet of more than 75 aircraft is located in Lisbon, Portugal, while the sales and marketing team operates from London.
