Five GKN Westland Sea King helicopters of the Belgian air force are to be fitted with the new Smith's Newmark SN500 automatic flight control system over the next three years.
The SN500 enhances the Sea King's operational capability and flight safety, while improving reliability and costs.
The latest enhancement of the Belgian Air Force Sea King fleet follows a $7.2million upgrade programme completed by Westland in 1995.
