Markitwise says it is delighted to be at Asian Aerospace again. Mike Mullenger, manager aviation security, says: “Demand for our sealed pouches increased dramatically after 9/11 with the tightening of security issues. BMI was our first customer and we are now in airlines all over Europe. We’re here in Asia to attract more local customers and are hoping there will be lots of airlines and security personnel here after last year’s successful show.” Markitwise says its products reduce typical security check times on a A330 by five hours, from six hours to just one.
