Skykits of Alberta, Canada unveiled their new Ramapage light sport aircraft at the US Sport Aviation show in Sebring, Florida. The $99,995 aircraft can take off from 50m (147ft) of runway and has a fuel burn of 16.3 litres(4.3USgal) an hour. An 80 litre fuel capacity feeds the 100hp (75kW) Rotax 912ULS engine with a range of 770km (420nm), with a climb rate of 1,085ft/min (330m/min) and a cruising speed of 185km/h. Side-by-side seats fit under its high wing in a 1,170mm- (46in-) wide cabin. The total allowed baggage is 20kg (44lb).
