The Indian air force will later this year accept its first combined synthetic aperture radar (SAR)/electro-optical sensor pod from Israeli industry under a $150 million deal. To equip the air force's MiG-27 strike aircraft, the sensor mates Elta's EL/M-2060P SAR sensor and an optical system provided by Elop.
