Seven people were killed when one of the Nigerian air force’s Fairchild Dornier 228 transports crashed soon after taking off from Kaduna airport for Abuja on 29 August. The fatalities included both crew members and all five passengers aboard the twin-turboprop.
Flightglobal’s Fleets Analyzer database identifies the destroyed aircraft as carrying the registration NAF030, and as having been built in 1992.
