Shannon Aerospace is performing substantial galley and interior modifications on a Boeing 737-200 for Malev of Hungary. The aircraft is on lease from Bavaria Flug, but Malev wants it to be configured like the rest of its fleet. Separately, China Eastern Airlines has sent 21 engineers to observe a Balair McDonnell Douglas MD-80 D-check at Shannon in preparation for performing one itself in November.
