The second part of this year's airline alliance survey provides an at a glance guide to airlines which have equity stakes in one another. The first table lists airlines which are wholly or partly owned by other carriers, while the second lists airlines which own stakes in others. The tables exclude regional airlines, which were surveyed in our May issue.

The main changes in the past year are Swissair's purchase of 49.5% of Sabena; KLM's investment in Kenya Airways; Air new Zealand's continuing efforts to buy half of Ansett; and reductions in Iberia's holding, Continental's America West stake, and Cathay's Dragonair holding.
