Singapore Airlines says it has become the first carrier to offer live television on scheduled long-haul services via its Connexion by Boeing inflight wireless broadband service. Travellers using Connexion can watch live news on their laptops on its London-Singapore service, while all passengers will be able to see live television from March 2006 when it is shown on the carrier’s inflight entertainment system.
