Lease
Sibir has reached agreement with Airbus Asset Management to lease six A310-300s, the first two of which are ex-Aeroflot aircraft due for delivery in May. The other four are also likely to be ex-Aeroflot. They will be used mostly on domestic/CIS services and will augment Sibir's Tupolev Tu-154 fleet. Sibir is talking to the Russian authorities about payment of the import taxes on these aircraft - their low value mean taxes would not be high.
