Westinghouse Electric has agreed to sell its power generation business to Siemens of Germany for $1.525 billion cash, as part of its plan to divest its industrial businesses. Westinghouse officials say the divestiture timetable has been pushed back about six months, but expect to complete the sell-off of non-media units by the middle of next year.
