An experimental version of the Alisport Silent Club sailplane is undergoing flight testing in the USA powered by retractable AMT USA AT450 turbojets. The Silent Jet conversion was carried out by an independent US team in co-operation with Alisport based in Cremella, near Milan in Italy, to test the durability of the aircraft and the engines. There are no plans to certificate and manufacture the Silent Jet, says Alisport.
