SimCom is expanding its factory-authorised training for the EADS Socata TBM 700 business aircraft, providing training in the aircraft at Scottsdale, Arizona, in addition to simulator-based and in-aircraft training in Orlando, Florida.
Training now includes a course designed for piston or low-time pilots upgrading to the single-turboprop TBM 700. The course is tailored to meet individual insurability requirements and conducted in the customer’s aircraft. The Orlando centre is equipped with a unique SimCom-manufactured Level 5 flight-training device for the TBM 700.
FlightSafety International, meanwhile, plans to install the first full-flight simulator for the Piaggio P180 Avanti/Avanti II in its West Palm Beach, Florida training centre early next year.
