Crane Aerospace & Electronics has signed an agreement with UPS for the distribution of parts in different countries.
"The inventories will be available for immediate shipment to Crane's customers on a 24/7 basis," says Crane.
The first UPS location that will manage Crane inventories will be in Singapore, it adds. Some of the parts include fuel transfer pumps, lube and scavenge pumps and anti-skid components.
"We are implementing a global expansion strategy to provide customers more convenience and faster turn-around time through regional parts distribution centres," says Brian Barrett, aerospace group vice president, aftermarket services.
