Chinese MRO provider Ameco Beijing has signed an agreement with Thai start-up Sabaidee Airways.
The contract covers customer service support such as repair and overhaul for engines and landing gears, C- and D-level maintenance checks, and aircraft-on-ground support, says Ameco.
Service support by Ameco on Sabaidee’s fleet will cover from 2014 till 2018.
Media reports in Thailand say that Sabaidee is backed by unnamed Thai businessmen operating an in-bound travel agency called New Generation Travel and Trade, and will operate Boeing 737-400 aircraft on charter services.
