Singapore has concluded a deal with Boeing for 12 AH-64DApache Longbows. The agreement firms up options for 12 helicopters placed in 1999, when the Republic of Singapore Air Force ordered eight AH-64Ds. Although Boeing does not give a contract value, the notification to Congress earlier this year flagged the deal at $617 million (Flight International, 17-24 July). Boeing, meanwhile, has handed the 200th AH-64A re-manufactured to D-standard over to the US Army, which has orders for 640 machines.
