SMA Engines has launched a US subsidiary based in Daytona Beach, Florida. The base was primarily established to provide support for Maule Air's 170kW (230hp) SR 205-230-powered M7-SR21tdi, but will also be an upgrade centre for other aircraft types including the Cessna 182.
