Small satellite

Orbital Sciences is to build a small geosynchronous communications satellite for Horizons-2 Satellite, a 50:50 joint venture between PanAmSat and Japan’s JSAT. The 2,300kg (5,000lb) Horizons-2 spacecraft, carrying 20 active Ku-band transponders, will be launched in 2007 and located at 74° West over the USA.
