Bombardier is installing the Smartfix trouble shooting system as standard on its Continental super mid-sized business jet. The system is designed to reduce costs for operators, says the Canadian company. SmartFix "accelerates fault isolation routines, reduces aircraft downtime and spare part requirements", according to Bombardier.
