B/E Aerospace-owned SMR Technologies has received supplemental type certificates from the US FAA for its Ice Shield pneumatic de-icer systems on the Twin Commander and Cessna 421C Golden Eagle. The system is also cleared for use on the Piper PA-31 and Raytheon Beech King Air 200.
