Snecma Services and the British Defence Logistics Organisation have just signed a 'per flight hour and cycle' maintenance agreement for the 28 CFM56-2 engines on the Royal Air Force's seven Boeing E-3D AWACS aircraft. The new contract covers a total support package through the entire life of the aircraft while they remain in operation with the RAF.
