EADS Socata is opening a sales office at Coolangatta airport, Queensland, Australia, to exploit growing demand for business and general aviation in the Asia Pacific region. Socata, which produces the TBM850 – formerly the TBM700C – high-speed, single-engined turboprop as well as the TB line of piston-engined touring aircraft, says it is also setting up a network of service centres throughout the country.
