Japanese domestic budget carrier Solaseed Air has selected Taiwan-based Evergreen Aviation Technologies for airframe maintenance.
The airline, which was formerly known as Skynet Asia, signed a five-year contract with the maintenance provider for its Boeing 737 fleet.
Based in Miyazaki on the island of Kyushu, Solaseed currently operates 10 737-400s and two 737-800s, according to Flightglobal's ACAS database.
A fleet renewal programme is underway whereby the 737-400s are to be replaced with 13 737-800s by 2015. The first two aircraft were delivered in mid-2011.
