After completing a 65min checkout flight on 22 October, the Eurofighter consortium is closer to delivering the first single-seat production aircraft to an operational unit. Eight twin-seat Eurofighters have been delivered to training squadrons in Germany, and the single-seater will be assigned to an operational squadron after completing final checkout at EADS Military Aircraft in Manching.
