South Korea has cancelled plans to exercise an option to buy eight Lockheed Martin P-3Cs, after losing a legal case against the US manufacturer alleging overcharging in broker fees. Seoul will try to recover the money from Daewoo, which had been promised a $29.75 million commission, but received only $4 million.
