US sources say the South Korean Navy is the previously undisclosed customer in a $22 million deal for an AAI Shadow 400 tactical UAV system. The company will provide a single ship-based Shadow 400 system with multiple air vehicles, a control station and a hydraulic launcher. Last year, AAI was awarded an initial $41 million US Army contract for four Shadow 200 tactical UAV systems.
