Southwest Airlines' 4,000 pilots have voted in favour of an interim labour agreement that extends their contract by two years and puts their pay on a par with pilots at other US major carriers. The contract takes them through to 1 September 2006 and gives them pay raises of around 20%, with additional increases linked to the airline's profitability.
